Gaza Biennale Valencia Pavilion 2025: Commemorative Poster
GRAPA artist Diogo Rustoff has designed this special commemorative poster exclusively for the Gaza Biennale Valencia Pavilion. Diogo Rustoff is a Brazilian artist who lives in Goiânia, Brazil.
The poster uses embroidery as a reference, and the illustration used in the poster is from the Tirazain Initiative. The Tirazain Initiative is an archive and library which aims to document and preserve Palestinian embroidery. The poster captures the official colours of Palestine, and adds the colour orange as a nod to the city of Valencia. Valencia is the home of The GRAPA.
The 50 x 70 cm (20 x 27.5 in) poster was printed by our local part GB by Commonline. Poster sales are going towards the cost of the exhibition.
